The Polish Flag above our heads is the actual Polish colour's that were seen flying above the ruins of Monte Cassino as the Germans surrendered on 18th May 1944.When you scroll down and study the pictures you will find reference to Kprl.KRZYWOSZANSKI who was Chris's uncle and was a mechanic in the LAD ( Light Aid Detachment ) with No3 Squadron repairing the Regiment's Shermans under difficult conditions.He later helped to build the famous Tank Monument in May 1946.Chris is about to finish Michal KRZYWOSZALSKI'S Biography.
